From April to the end of July, you can cheer on our professional arena Albany Firebirds (American Football League) team at the MVP Arena. A fiery & loud crowd, energetic dance team and our very own skilled football pros – recruited from all over the country -makes for a super hype night out in Downtown Albany. We also love to see how active the team is in giving back to our local community, especially during their off season. Reserve your tickets here!
- Albany FireWolves Lacrosse
I’ve always been familiar with lacrosse, as my brother played in college and is now a college coach, but “box lacrosse” is super different from the traditional sport. Talk about FAST PACED. Whoa! The Albany FireWolves are a professional box lacrosse team and members of the East Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Box lacrosse is rougher and more physical than traditional lacrosse. WAY rougher and more physical! My first game was a pretty cool experience. You know it’s going to be a good time when the team runs out while indoor fireworks are going off. They do a bunch of programming for kids, including lacrosse skill workshops. Check out schedule and tickets here!
- Adirondack Thunder Hockey
Talk about ride or die fans! Adirondack Thunder fans truly #PackTheHouse and bring the heat at the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls. The Thunder are proud members of the ECHL, a mid-level professional ice hockey league with teams scattered across the United States and Canada. It’s a tier below the American Hockey League. Gotta love the tenacity of this team. Skilled. Physical. So much heart. Get out there and cheer them on.
